It’s three hour drive from Katunayake International Airport to Dambulla. Nearly 131 km drive. There are three main things you can visit and experience in Sigiriya and Dambulla areas. Dambulla cave temple complex, Sigiriya rock fortress, and Pidurangala rock are the main three places to visit. And you can get a unique Sri Lankan village experience and food also when you are doing this tour. We recommend one night stay as it will be hard to cover the place in one day period. Both Sigiriya rock and Dambulla cave temple are UNESCO world heritage sites.
